Protection Application:: Sidac devices are used as switch on device for Igniter Circuits. Operation Note: The resistor is usually chosen to achieve a spark interval of 100 â€" 250 mili second.
Solution Description:: For a voltage exceeding the Sidac breakover voltage point, the Sidac swathes on through a negative resistance region to a low on-state voltage.
